Drive pinion shaft Removing and fitting

Removing the outer ring of the roller bearing from the torque converter housing
–  Use an allen key to screw open the hooks until the outer ring/ conical roller bearings are secured
–  Screw the nut to remove the outer ring /conical roller bearings.
  E39-0227
Fitting the outer ring of the roller bearing into the torque converter housing
–  Place the torque converter casing on a workbench, so it is totally flat.
  E39-0228
Removing the inner ring of the roller bearing
  Note
If the bearing cage breaks during the extraction then use the kit -T20022-with the adapter -T20022/44- to remove the inner ring.
  E39-0229
Inserting the inner ring of the roller bearing by pressure
–  Place the adapter -U 40100/3- under the driven sprocket, without damaging the inner ring /bearing of the conical rollers.
–  Fit turning tool -T20024- inside tool tappet -T20052-, and rest it on the inner ring of the roller bearing.
  E39-0230
Remove the driven sprocket by pressure
–  Fit adapter -U 40100/2- between the driven sprocket and the parking lock gear.
–  Place tappet -T20061- over the threaded shaft of the crown pinion shaft.
  E39-0231
Fit the driven sprocket
–  Fit the adapter -U 40300/1- of the base of the crown pinion shaft so as not to damage the bearing.
–  Fit adapter -U 40200/15- above the driven sprocket so that the shaft is within the tool.
  E39-0232
Removing the inner ring of the roller bearing
–  Remove the inner ring using the kit -T20022- and the adapter -T20022/44-.
  E39-0233
Fit the inner ring of the roller bearing
–  Place adapter -U 40100/3- between the crown pinion and the conical roller bearings without damaging them.
–  Fit turning tool -T20024- inside tool tappet -T20052-, and rest it on the inner ring of the roller bearing.
  E39-0234
Remove the outer ring of the roller bearing from the gearbox casing
–  Use an allen key to screw open the hooks until the outer ring/ conical roller bearings are secured
–  Screw the nut to remove the outer ring /conical roller bearings.
  E39-0235
Fitting the outer ring of the roller bearing into the gearbox casing
  E39-0236
Loosen and tighten the hexagon nut
–  Secure gear shaft using protection clamps -A- on the bench vice.
B - Torque wrench kit -SAT 8010-
  N39-0457
Tighten the nut:
–  Secure the collar of the hexagon nut with a punch in the machined grooves of the engine shaft -arrows-.
