t  Torque wrench kit -SAT 8010-
  L00-10226
t  Measuring tool -U 40807-
–  Open the front bonnet and hold open with the bonnet rod.
–  Remove front bonnet soundproofing → Chapter.
–  Remove the front bonnet moulding → Chapter.

–  Lower the front bonnet without closing completely and loosen the securing bolts of the front bonnet -arrows-.

–  Open the front bonnet again and loosen the fastening nuts slightly -arrows- on both sides.

–  Move the front bonnet in the direction of the -arrows- until the tolerances are acceptable → Rep. gr.00.
  Note
The bonnet can be adjusted horizontally (to the right and left) and vertically (to the front and back). For additional control on the vertical plane (forwards and backwards), loosen the bolts → Anchor and move the hinge along the upper strut.

–  Tighten the fastening bolts of the bonnet -arrows- on both sides.

–  Open the front bonnet and tighten the fastening nuts of the front bonnet -arrows- on both sides.

Set the height of the bonnet

Tolerance
–  Check the tolerances using the gauge -U 40807- → Rep. gr.00.
  WARNING
On completion of the assembly or adjustment work protect the hinges and bolts against corrosion.
