| Install the tailgate seal |
Note| t | In factory assembly, a sealant is applied to the tailgate seal, this is fitted into the tab and then a pressure roller is applied. |
| t | On removing the seal, the sealant spreads onto the interior of the seal and the sides open slightly. It may be leaking or not properly seated when reattaching the seal. |
| t | All removed seals must therefore be replaced by a new seal. |
| t | Partially removed seals must be pressed together prior to installing the flanks of the seal. |
| – | Position the join at the end of the seal at 200mm to the left of the slip plate. |
| – | Attach the tailgate seal -1- on the body flange by using the pressure tool -T20098-. For this, start at the ends of the seals -Arrow-, which must be aligned toward the lower side of the tailgate lamp mounting. |
