Tailgate: removing
–  Remove the interior lining of tailgate: → Bodywork, interior fitting work ; Rep. Gr.70
   
–  Disconnect the two plug-in connectors -Arrows-.
–  Remove wiring harness -1- from tailgate.
–  Remove the two gas pressure springs from the tailgate → Chapter.

–  Remove the four mounting bolts -Arrows- for fastening the tailgate to the hinges.
  Note
When supporting the tailgate place a piece of suitable material between the tailgate and the surface on which it is placed to protect the tailgate.
