Materials
t  Plastic cleanser 100 ml -D 195 850 A1-.
t  Plastic glue 150 ml -D 822 150 A1-
t  Removing → Anchor
t  Installing → Anchor
Removing
–  Remove the rear bumper trim → Chapter.
–  Rear parking steering aid senders holder → Electrical system ; Rep. gr.94.

–  Before removing the holder for the rear steering parking aid sender, heat with the hot air blower -VAG 1416-.
–  Loosen the holder of the rear steering parking aid sender from the rear bumper trim using the lever -U30800-.
Installing
  Note
The holder of the rear steering parking aid sender cannot be swapped with each other as each has its own installation position, see → Electronic parts catalogue.

–  Clean the surface -6- of the bumper trim to which the holder of the new rear steering parking aid sender should be installed using Plastic cleanser 100 ml -D 195 850 A1-.
Drying time, approx. 5 minutes
–  Apply a thin layer of Plastic cleanser 150 ml -D 822 150 A1- to the surface -6- of the bumper trim.
–  Remove the protective paper -1- from the adhesive foam tape.
–  Position the holder -2- in the bumper trim within the marked field.
–  Press the holder for the rear steering parking aid -2- against the bumper trim.
–  Attach the connector of the holder for the rear steering parking aid sender.
–  Check the condition of the seal -3- and replace when damaged → Electronic parts catalogue.
–  Fir the seal -3- to the rear steering parking aid sender -4-.
–  Check the condition of the protective cover -5- and replace when damaged → Electronic parts catalogue.
–  Installing rear parking steering aid sender → Electrical system; Rep. gr.94.
–  Install the rear bumper trim → Anchor.
