Note| t | If the roof railing is removed on one side only, it is sufficient to lower the moulded headliner on that side. |
| t | If the roof railing is removed on both sides, the moulded headliner must be completely removed. |
| t | -Arrow- points in direction of normal travel. |
| Carry out the following work: |
| – | Loosen moulded headlining on one side until it can be lowered → Body, General body repairs - interior; Rep. gr.70 |
| When lowering moulded headliner and during following work, make sure not to damage moulded headliner. |
| – | Unscrew hexagon nuts -4- from studs -2- on roof railing. |
| – | Evenly lift roof railing -1- with studs upwards out of retaining brackets -3 and 9- and out of roof. |
| Retaining brackets -4- and tapered washers -7 and 8- remain in vehicle on removal of roof railing. |
