| Removing retaining bracket |
Note| t | Ensure all the wedges in the tolerance compensation remain in position if the retaining bracket is to be reinstalled. |
| t | Always use one lower and one upper wedge. |
| t | Wedges must not be interchanged. |
| Carry out the following work: |
| – | Remove moulded headliner → Body, General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70. |
| – | Removing roof rail → Chapter |
| – | Unscrew hexagon nuts -2-. |
| – | Remove retaining brackets -1 and 3- together with tolerance compensators -4 and 5-. |
| If the retaining bracket is to be reinstalled, secure tolerance compensator to retaining bracket with commercially available adhesive tape. |
