| During production, a sealant is applied to the door inner seals, which are then placed on the door flange and rolled on. |

| On removing the seal, the sealant spreads onto the interior of the seal and the sides open slightly. If the seal is then refitted, sealing and firm seating are no longer guaranteed. |

| Therefore, each seal that is completely removed must be replaced with a seal known as a „tap-on seal“. |

| If a seal has been partially removed, squeeze sides of seal together before installing. |

| The removal and installation sequence is only for the left door inner seal. Removal and installation on the right side of the vehicle are similar. |
