Rear windscreen: fitting > < Non-deteriorated windscreen: removing

Carry out the following work:
–  Protect body and interior from glass splinters.
–  Eliminate glass remains down to the sealing glue.
–  Separate the connections for the heated rear-windscreen and the aerial.
   
–  Cover flange -2- all round with textile-reinforced adhesive tape.
–  Cut through adhesive seal (with glass remains) in window cut-out using electric cutter -V.A.G 1561 A- and knife U-shaped blade -V.A.G 1561-.
  WARNING
It is obligatory to wear protective glasses and leather gloves.
