Cutting back adhesive bead
Carry out the following work:
  WARNING
The sticking contact surface should not be treated with primer or cleaning solution. Keep bonding surface free of dirt and grease.
Do not treat bonding surface with activator immediately after cutting back.
  Note
   
t  If an undamaged window is being re-used, cut back the residual adhesive sealant to 1 to 2 mm shortly before bonding it back in. Do not damage primer and ceramic coating when doing this.
t  Remaining material serves as adhesion base for newly applied adhesive sealing compound.
  WARNING
Exception: if bonding is performed later than one day after cutting back adhesive bead, the remaining residual material must be activated with activator.
Apply activator evenly in one stroke using applicator.
Activator must not come in contact with paint, or the paintwork will be damaged.
Drying time, approx. 10 minutes
Exception: if gluing is not accomplished immediately after cutting back the glue, it is necessary to activate the remaining material with the glass activator.
