Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Release lever -T10039-
t  Removing → Anchor
t  Fitting → Anchor.
Removing
  Note
t  The interior element of the seal is metallic. If it is bent, the seal can no longer be straightened. It remains "corrugated".
t  Therefore, the window well seal must be removed evenly without being bent.
–  Open the rear door.

–  Remove the exterior window seal, starting with the end -arrow A-.
–  Insert the wedge -T10039/1- between the exterior window well seal and the door and release the window well seal in the direction of the -arrow-.
Fitting.
  E64-10164
–  Install the exterior window seal, starting with the end -arrow A-.
–  Press the entire surface of the window well seal evenly using the wedge -T10039/1-.
–  Make sure that the entire surface of the exterior window seal is correctly in place in the door flange.
