| – | If fitted, remove window crank → Chapter. |
| – | Remove front door trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70. |
| – | Remove door window → Chapter. |
| – | Removing window regulator motor → Chapter |
| – | Release locking hook of cable drum -arrows a- and insert into door. |
| – | Unscrew hexagon nuts -2- and insert threaded studs of window regulator into door - arrows b-. |
| – | Slightly turn window regulator inside door in -direction of arrow c-. |
| – | Guide window regulator -1- through opening in door -arrow d- to remove. |

| Carry out following work: |
| – | Insert window regulator -1- through opening in door -arrow a- and move to mounting position -arrow b-. |
| – | Insert threaded studs of window regulator into door skin -arrows c-. |
| – | Tighten hexagon nuts -2- to specified torque of 8 Nm. |
| – | Press cable drum against door inner part -arrows d- until looking hooks engage audibly. |
| – | Install window regulator motor → Chapter or window lifter mechanism → Chapter. |
| – | Install door window → Chapter. |
