Removing and installing retaining strip for cover > < Removal:

Installation
Carry out the following work:
  DANGER!
Check gas-tight spreader nuts for damage and renew if necessary.
The expanding nuts seal the passenger compartment against exhaust gases. If damaged, they must be replaced under all circumstances.
–  Place cover -1- onto side panel.
–  Push cover -1- out of mountings on retaining strip -2- in the direction of the rear.
–  Tighten bolts -3- to tightening torque 8 Nm.
