| Carry out the following work: |
| – | Remove sliding door trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70. |
| – | Remove cover → Chapter |
| – | Disconnect battery → Vehicle electrics; Rep. gr.27 |
| – | Remove door lock → Chapter. |
| – | Push the rubber catches -9- of the power latching system -10- into the door -arrows a-. |
| – | Remove the electrical connector. |
| – | Remove power latching system -10- from door. |
Note| The Bowden cable can be detached if this is necessary for subsequent work. |

| – | Take cable -4- out of relay pulley -arrow d-. |
| – | Remove cable -4- from mounting -arrows e-. |
