| – | Remove lower C-pillar trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70. |
| – | Detach connector -5-. |
| – | Unscrew bolt -3- and put down. |
| – | Twist cover for cable -2- out of catch -arrow a- and pull out of clip -4--arrow b-. |
| – | Remove cover for middle guide rail → Chapter |
| – | Undo bolt -7- end plate. |
| – | Pull end plate -6- towards the rear. |
| Further dismantling requires the help of a second mechanic. |
| – | Unscrew bolt -10- for top roller guide -9-. |
| – | Push sliding door -1- towards the rear -arrow b- and pull the hinge -3- out of guide rail -2--arrow b-. |
| – | Remove lower roller guide -1- out of lower guide rail in -direction of arrow a-. |
| – | Place the sliding door somewhere where it can be safely secured. Placing the sliding door on the door fitting apparatus -VAS 5238- and strapping it down securely is the safest method. |
