| Remove and install frame |
| Disassembly |
| – | Removing preselection control for sliding/tilting sunroof Page → Chapter. |
| – | Remove the interior lining of the roof → Bodywork, interior fitting work ; Rep. Gr.70 |
| – | Disconnect water drain hoses -arrows- from assembly unit -1-. |
| – | Remove brackets on front handles. |
| – | Unscrew bolts -2- and remove assembly unit located on rear handle brackets toward front with aid of helper and remove from vehicle. |
| Installing |
| – | Install complete assembly unit -1-. For this purpose, insert rear section over the brackets of the rear handles |
| – | Install washers above assembly unit and screw in bolts -2- and -4-. |
| – | Check the cable run and the roof electrical consumer connectors and if necessary, establish the connection. |
| – | Tighten bolts -2- on assembly unit -1- starting at sunroof drive motor toward left and right rear to 8 Nm. |
| – | Install brackets on front handles. |
| – | Install water drain hoses -arrows- on assembly unit -1-. |
| – | Fit the interior lining of the roof → Bodywork, interior fitting work; Rep. Gr.70 |
| – | Connect plug for drive unit. |
| – | Sun roof operation mechanism preselection |
| Finally you should check for proper functioning. |
