Steering wheel versions with Airbag modules:
Steering wheels are equipped with registers on the rear part, in order to allow access to the fastening clips of the Airbag module Before removing, in order to avoid steering wheel deterioration, the type of register installed should be taken note of.
Identification of steering wheel registers:
There are three versions of steering wheels combined with the Airbag modules
  Caution
Depending on the type of steering wheel, identify the Airbag unit installed in the vehicle.
  Caution
Use a mirror (for example a rear-view mirror) in order to see the type of register installed.
–  Unlock the steering column regulator.
–  Completely extract the steering column, placing it in the lowest position.
–  Lock the steering column regulator.
–  Turn the wheel 180º to the left or right.
–  Finally, locate and identify the register installed using the mirror.

t  From week 45.2006 > 3rd generation wheels are available, which incorporate 2 round registers. The register with the largest diameter is a blind register. Proceed with the removal in the smaller diameter register.
