| With certain versions, the key switch is located on one side of the storage compartment. In this case, the procedure for removing and installing are similar to those above. |

| Before disconnecting the connectors, mark them to avoid confusion when refitting. |

| Before working on the electrical system, disconnect the battery earth strap. |

| After connecting the battery, check the vehicle equipment (radio, clock, electric windows, etc.) according to the instructions in the Repair Manual and / or the Operating Instructions. |

| Turn off the ignition and all electricity consumers. |
