Check working of seat belt buckle |
Checking seat belt buckle: |

| Insert tongue connector in buckle until it clicks into place. |

| Pull hard on the belt to check whether the locking mechanism is engaged. |

| Repeat the test at least 5 times. |
Note If after a minimum of 5 tests, the tongue comes out once or more, the complete seat belt and buckle must be replaced. |

| Insert tongue until it can be heard to engage. |

| Release the seat belt by pressing the buckle button with finger. When the belt webbing is slack, the tongue should come out of the buckle. |

| Repeat the test at least 5 times. |
Note If the tongue does not comes out every time, the complete seat belt and buckle must be replaced. |
WARNING Never use lubricants to remove noise or stiffness from the belt buckle buttons. |
