Removing and installing seat cushion cover and padding
Removing and installing seat cushion cover and padding
Removing
–  Attach seat repair stand -VAS 6136- to engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-.
–  Remove front seat trim → Chapter.
–  Remove seat → Chapter.
–  Fasten seat on seat repair stand -VAS 6136-.
–  Remove side trims → Chapter.
–  Remove footwell trims → Chapter.
   
–  Detach the section around the -1- cover -2- from the seat frame -arrows-.

–  Remove cover -1- together with padding -2- off seat frame.
–  Roll cover off the padding until the padding channels are accessible.
–  In the padding channel, pinch the upholstery clips -arrows- together and release the cover from the padding.

Installing
–  Install in reverse order of removal.
  Note
Use padding clip pliers -V.A.G 1634- to fit padding clips.
