–  Remove lower tailgate trim.
–  Release trim retaining hooks -arrows 1-.
–  Remove tailgate locking mechanism trim -arrows 2-.
Installation
Reassembly is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Slide trim onto rear lid lock until it engages audibly.
