Roof end trim: Removing and installing

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Lever -80 200-

Removal:

–	Open the tailgate.

–	Behind the roof pillar -Arrow- unhinge the roof end trim -1- in the centre to the back. For that, carefully use the lever -80 200-.

Installation

Reassembly is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

t	If there are still trim clips in the body mounting points, they must be removed and inserted in the trim when installing.

t	Check clips for damage or deformation and renew if necessary.

–	Fit roof end trim -1- so that retaining clip makes contact with D-pillar trim.

–	First apply roof end trim to centring pin on body cut-out and then press on clips until they engage audibly.
