Lower C-pillar trim (with airbag): Take off
Lower C-pillar trim (with airbag): Take off
  WARNING
Before working on the electrical system, disconnect the battery earth strap.
   
  Note
Before working with the airbag system, always read the safety precautions → Chapter.
–  Turn off the ignition and all electricity consumers.
–  With the ignition switched off, disconnect the earth lead from the battery → Starter motor, voltage supply; Rep. gr.27.
–  Remove the rear seats → Chapter, → Chapter.
–  Remove the rear tray.
–  Remove the bracket from the rear tray → Chapter.
–  Remove the upper lining of strut C → Chapter.
–  Remove the plugs -1-.
–  Unscrew the bolt -2-.
–  Remove the airbag emblem and unscrew the screw -4-.
–  Remove the thrust piece -5-.
–  Remove the trim of the piping of the door seal.
–  Release the trim -3- from the fixing clamps using the lever -T20043- and remove from the trim.
–  Disconnect connector -6-.
–  Remove the trim completely.
  Note
Insert a protective device between the surface where the trim should be lent against and its contact surface to prevent the possibility of dirt entering.
