–  Remove the support plate from the base of the mirror.
–  Eliminate PUR adhesive material from the mirror support plate with a wire brush.
–  Grind down the three distancing granules on the contact surface to adhere. To do this place a sheet of 360/400 abrasive paper on a flat surface.
–  The flattened surface must be kept free from dirt and grease.
–  Grind down the adhesive material and the windscreen primer with a glass scraper until reaching the ceramic layer.
–  Clean contact surfaces with isopropyl or heptopropyl alcohol.
  Caution
Do not damage the ceramic layer. Scratches will always be visible.
–  Cut the nylon net material to exactly the size of the mirror base.
  Note!
Use hand protection (rubber gloves).
–  Apply a uniform layer of adhesive to the base of the mirror.
–  Place the nylon net material on the mirror base.
–  More glue must be added to the nylon net material from the tube.
You have 30 seconds from the time you place the nylon netting onto the glue to the moment when you fit the mirror pressing it against the windscreen.
–  Press the mirror base firmly against the windscreen for 15 seconds (not too hard).
–  Remove excess adhesive with a cloth.
  Note!
After 15 minutes the inside mirror can be fitted.
