| Tensioner units which are physically damaged (cracks, dents), must, as a rule, be replaced. |

| Seat belt tensioners that have been triggered should be disposed of as scrap |

| The tensioner units should be fitted as soon as they are removed from their packing box |

| If work has to be stopped, the tensioner unit should be replaced in its box again |

| The belt tensioner unit should not be left unsupervised |

| The tensioner unit should not be treated with grease, cleaning products or similar, nor should it be exposed to temperatures over 100°C |
