Checking bearing „D“ (roller bearing for pulley set „I“)
  Note
The bearing „D“ is available in two versions: Without inner bearing race or with inner bearing race.
–  Check if the bearing „D“-item 1- (in the illustration: version without inside ring) is damaged:
l  The roller bearings should not exhibit any signs of damage on the surface.
l  There must be no cracks or chips on the bearing cage.
–  Run your finger nail over the entire running surface to assess the damage on the roller bearings.
l  Any very slight scores or damage that cannot be felt with the finger nail can be disregarded.
l  If you feel any scores or damage with your finger nail, or if your nail catches, renew bearing „D“.
–  Also check running surface on pulley set „I“ → Fig..

Checking bearing „G“ (roller bearing for pulley set „II“)
–  Check if the bearing „G“-item 1- is damaged:
l  The roller bearings should not exhibit any signs of damage on the surface.
l  There must be no cracks or chips on the bearing cage.
–  Run your finger nail over the entire running surface to assess the damage on the roller bearings.
l  Any very slight scores or damage that cannot be felt with the finger nail can be disregarded.
l  If bearing „G“ is damaged, the gearbox must be renewed.
–  Also check running surface for bearing „G“ on pulley set „II“ → Fig..
