  Note!
t  Follow the instructions for the removal of the pulley in the compressor make “Denso”, version “1”; these instructions are also valid for this compressor → Chapter.
t  Carry out preparation work in the same way as for the removal of the pulley in the compressor make “Denso”, version “1” → Chapter.
1 - Bolt
q   Renew
q   To release and tighten the bolt, the pulley should be held with a strap wrench
q   Clean the thread on the compressor axle ( and where applicable on the bolt) removing fixing agents from old threads before bolting
q   Fit the bolt prepared with thread fixing agent (e.g. with D 000 600 A2) → Parts catalogue
q   Tightening torque: 20 Nm
2 - Bolt
q   To release and tighten the bolt, the pulley should be held with a strap wrench
q   Tightening torque: 5 Nm
3 - Drive plate
q   The overload rubber element acts in case of excess torque (in case the compressor becomes difficult to operate) and the pulley moves freely without operating the compressor
q   With a rubber element to separate the pulley from the compressor operation axle, absorb vibrations and noise
4 - Circlip
q   Renew
q   Fit correctly; the bevelled entry side -A- shows away from the compressor (the flat part shows towards the compressor)
q   Take special care when fitting the circlip that it is not bent any more than is necessary for fitting
5 - Pulley
q   Clean the compressor bracket before fitting the pulley
6 - Compressor
q   Depending on the engine version and on the country there are different versions → Parts catalogue
q   Clean the compressor bracket before fitting the pulley
