Safety precautions for handling suction and filling equipment
l  Before connecting the filling equipment to the air conditioner, ensure that all shut-off valves are completely closed.
l  Before disconnecting the filling equipment from the air conditioner, ensure that the process has been completed, in order prevent any refrigerant from escaping into the atmosphere.
l  Once the refined refrigerant has been transferred from the filling equipment to an external pressurized gas bottle, the manual shut-off valves on both the bottle and the filling equipment must be closed.
l  Do not expose the filling equipment to humidity or use it in wet or humid environments.
l  Ensure that the electrical power of the filling equipment is disconnected before carrying out any maintenance work.
l  Avoid using electrical power extension cords, in order to minimize the risk of fire. If it is necessary to use an extension cord, use a cable with a minimum cross-section of 2.5 mm2.
l  In the event of fire, move the external bottle away.
l  If oil sucked out from the air-conditioner is transferred from the suction accumulator to the graduated container supplied, ensure that it is later deposited in a container which can be closed, seeing as the oil contains a small amount of refrigerant. The refrigerant must not be dumped or disposed of into the environment.
l  When storing the service station, ensure that the wheels are blocked.
