Removing and installing operating and display unit for Climatronic air conditioning systemE87 with Climatronic control unitJ255

Removing and installing operating and display unit for Climatronic air conditioning system -E87- with Climatronic control unit -J255-

Note

The operating and display unit for Climatronic air conditioning system -E87- and the Climatronic control unit -J255- cannot be dismantled.

Detaching

–	Switch off ignition and all electrical loads, and pull out ignition key.

Only vehicles with the control unit for multimedia system -J650- interface for the ports AUX-IN or USB / iPod (MDI)

–	Removing the mount for the Control unit for multimedia system -J650- → Radio, Telephone, Navigation; Rep. gr.91

Continued for all vehicles

–	Unscrew bolts -2-.

–	Press on the upper section -arrows- with the lever -U 30800- and remove the Climatronic air conditioning control.

–	Unscrew the connectors -1- and -2- and remove the Climatronic air conditioning control.

Installing

Install in the reverse order to removal.
