Servomotor for air recirculation flap V113 : removing and fitting > < Removing
Fitting
Fitting

–  Place the servomotors in the support.
–  Servomotor -V68--C- with a black sprocket
–  Servomotor -V107--E- with a white sprocket
–  Connect the contacts “4” and “6” consecutively in the connectors of both servomotors -B- and -D- to a voltage supply of 12V. The servomotor moves to its limit in one direction. Changing the positive and negative poles inverts the rotation direction. For this, use an adapter cable -A- made by the operator himself.
–  Bring the sprockets of the servomotors -C- and -E- to the position shown in the figure (limits)
  E87-0144
–  Bring the levers -A- (for de-icing flap) and -B- (for temperature flap), in the air distribution housing of the air conditioning, to the position shown in the figure.
  Note
Ensure the shortest tooth that has both levers and the largest gap between teeth is in the corresponding place.
  E87-0145
–  Place the servomotor support in the fixing -E-.
  E87-0143
–  Now join the servomotor -V107--A- with the lever -B- and the servomotor -V68--C- with the lever -D-. Pay special attention to the correct position of the sprockets in relation to the levers.
  Note
If the sprocket and the lever do not coincide in the specified way, the servomotor will lock when the wider tooth does not coincide with a wide gap between teeth.

–  Secure the support with the clips -C- and -D- in the air distribution housing.
–  Now test the functioning of the servomotors, proceeding as follows:
  E87-0143
–  Connect the contacts “4” and “6” consecutively on the connector of each servomotor to a direct voltage supply of 12V. For this, use an adapter cable made by the very operator.
–  Note the movement of the servomotor.
Wait until the servomotor has reached its final position.
–  Now switch the positive and negative poles, so inverting the rotation direction of the servomotor.
Wait until the servomotor has reached its final position.
  Note
If the levers and sprockets of each servomotor do not coincide in the way specified, the servomotor will lock or the air conditioning will make noise during operation. This is because the flaps do not close properly.
Go back until the servomotor has reached its final position.
–  Lay the wiring harness so that it cannot come into contact with moving components (e.g. servomotor levers).
–  Consult the fault memory, erase it and perform the basic configuration; → Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051
