Installation overview
  WARNING
Before working on the electrical system, disconnect the battery earth strap.
  Note
t  Before disconnecting the battery, check the radio's anti-theft code.
t  If the battery is re-connected, the vehicle equipment must be checked (radio, clock, electrical comfort system etc.), following the instructions in the Repair Manual and/or Owner's Manual.
t  All of the components marked with * and the refrigerant pipes and tubes may only be repaired or replaced in agreed technical service workshops as the refrigerant must be drained beforehand, with a maintenence station.
t  You must take the safety precuations necessary for working on vehicles with air conditioning and for handling refrigerant R134a.
t  You must follow the instructions for work on the refrigerant circuit.
   
1 - Anti-fog nozzle
q   Integrated in the dashboard
2 - Dashboard nozzle, central → Heating; Air conditioning; Rep. Gr.80
3 - Dashboard → Bodywork, interior fitting work; Rep. Gr.70
4 - Nozzle for side windows
q   Carefully remove it by levering with the removal tool -U-30800-
5 - Dashboard nozzle, side → Heating; Air conditioning; Rep. Gr.80
6 - Intermediate part for the dashboard nozzle
q   Stapled to the heating unit
q   To remove it, it is necessary to remove the dashboard.
7 - Remove the dashboard: → Bodywork, interior fitting work; Rep. Gr.70
8 - Module bracket
9 - Air conditioning unit*
q   Assembly overview → Chapter
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
10 - Floor nozzle, right
q   Screwed onto the heating unit (1.5 Nm)
11 - Union part for the rear duct
12 - Rear duct
13 - Terminal part for the rear duct
q   Fit into the rear duct and into the transverse beam of the seats.
14 - De-aeration grille
q   Fit with a clip from the exterior on the transverse beam of the boot in front of the spare wheel compartment.
q   The sealing lips must move freely and fit in by themselves.
q   The area of the de-aeration grille must be free, if not, the interior de-aeration will not work → Chapter.
15 - Floor nozzle, left
q   Screwed into the support (1.5 Nm)
16 - Gasket*
q   For connecting the heat exchanger
q   In the transverse panel (mounting panel)
q   Installation position → Fig.
17 - Gasket*
q   For connecting the expansion valve
q   In the transverse panel (mounting panel)
q   Installation position in → Fig.
18 - Intermediate part for the anti-fog duct
q   Fitted onto the heating unit and in the module bracket
q   To remove it, it is necessary to remove the dashboard.

   
Installation position: gaskets
1 - Rubber gasket, transverse panel - evaporator housing
t  Fixed to the transversal panel
2 - Transverse panel (mounting plate)
3 - Foam rubber gasket, evaporator housing - transverse panel
t  Stuck to the evaporator housing
4 - Foam rubber gasket with support - transverse panel
t  Fit with a clip to the air conditioning unit
5 - Valve for the condensation water outlet
t  Mounted on the support -4- and the air conditioning unit
6 - Rubber gasket, transverse panel - heat exchanger/valve for condensation water outlet
t  Fixed to the transversal panel
