Removing
–  Remove the glove compartment → Bodywork, interior fitting work; Rep. Gr.68.
–  Remove the passenger side foot well cover → Bodywork, interior fitting work; Rep. Gr.68.
   
–  Remove the bolt -A-.
–  Detach the connector -D-.
  Caution
Do not touch the wheel of the outer air turbine -V2-; the use of force on the wheel or movement of the counteweights can cause imbalance which could lead to malfunction.
–  Release the block -B- and rotate the fresh air turbine housing -C- in -direction of the arrow-.
  Note
t  The join between the fresh air turbine housing -C- and the heating system may be sealed by a sealing paste, in which case it will be necessary to rotate the housing with more force.

t  In the casing -C- the Fresh air turbine -V2- is fitted and cannot be replaced separately → Parts catalogue.
–  Remove the fresh air turbine housing -C- from the heating system.
