t  There are different versions of the Heating control unit -J65--A- (with or without Thumbwheel for regulation of the heated driver's seat -E94- and Thumbwheel for regulation of the heated passenger's seat -E95--C-) → Parts catalogue.
t  The heating control consists of the Heating control unit -J65--A- and a main board -B-.
t  The Heating control unit -J65--A- has no fault memory (there is no self-diagnosis) and is not connected to the data bus system.
t  On the main board -B- there is a gear system which, using the main board of the heating system, with a rotation of the control, moves the flexible shaft twice → Chapter.

t  Except for the two rotating controls -A- and -B- (they are inserted and may be removed) the components of the Heating control unit -J65- or the LEDs (LED = light emitting diodes) for the buttons and the rotating controls may not be replaced as individual parts.
t  The illumination of the rotating controls and the buttons for the heating control is powered from the terminals 58s and 58d. → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations.

t  The active indicator on the key for the air recirculation option -F- is supplied with power from the terminals 58d.
