Fitting
  Note
t  If the clips on the support are broken the support must be replaced.
t  In the fresh air and air recirculation flap control motor spare part -V154-“Air recirculation” has been selected.
t  Where necessary, the control motor should be connected to the cable harness and set to the position “Air recirculation”.
t  The control motor for the heating equipment and the air conditioning unit are different. Check the number of parts!
–  Apply pressure to the control motor to fix it into its support.
–  Press the support with the control motor on the upper part against the casing to fit it into place.
The notched wheels should connect together.

The following steps should be carried out at the same time:
  Note
t  If the servomotor pinion is not set at the position “air recirculation maximum”:
  A80-0169
t  Apply a voltage of 12 V to pins -A- and -B- on the servomotor connector (using an adapter cable → Chapter); wait until the servomotor reaches the position “air recirculation maximum”.
t  If the servomotor does not move to the position “air recirculation” the positive and negative connections must be changed.
t  Wait until the servomotor has reached the position “air recirculation”.
t  Close the fresh air flap and keep closed.
  A80-0172
t  Move the control motor towards the casing so that the first cog -A- of the notched wheel -2- of the control motor fits on the opening of the -1ª- and -2ª- notched wheel of the segment -1- of the fresh air flap.
t  Place the air recirculation flap so that the marks -arrows- on the notched wheel -2- and the notched segment -3- of the air recirculation flap match.
t  press the control motor completely against the casing.
–  Bolt the control motor support (1 Nm).
–  Connect the control motor connector, connect the ignition and check the control motor is working correctly by pressing the air recirculation button.
  WARNING
When testing the control motor do not place your hand in the kinematics of the notched wheels or flaps
  Note
t  The fresh air flap and the air recirculation flap must be carefully moved to the end without tugging.
t  If the kinematics gets caught, switch off the ignition immediately, remove the control motor with the support again and repeat the installation process.
If the flap controls are correct continue assembly in the reverse oder to the dismounting.
