| Mark the position of the lever -3- of the temperature flap at the end positions of the casing (flap completely open /flap completely closed), -2- and -4-. |

| Set the control unit -1- in the position “flap closed”. |
| –
| Close the temperature flap. |
| Lower the lever -3- as far as the lower limit. |
| –
| Insert the control unit -1- in the brackets -6- and move it towards the casing in the direction of the arrow. |
| The control unit rod -1- should slot into the lever guide -3-. |
| –
| Fit the control unit into the casing -5-. |
| –
| Insert the flexible axle -1- in the control unit → Chapter |
| –
| Check the working of the control unit. |
| It should be possible to easily control the temperature flap without tugging and move it to the final position (marks -2- and -4-). |
| The temperature flap control does not operate correctly: |
| –
| Dismount the control unit again and repeat the assembly process as described above. |
| The flap control operates correctly: |
| –
| Fit the left-hand floor compartment nozzle. |
