Removing
Before replacing the left seal:
–  Remove the jointed half-shaft. → Running gear, shafts, steering; Rep. Gr.40
–  Place a recipient under the gearbox to catch any oil that might be spilled during the operations described below.
–  Remove the left outlet shaft by fitting the tool -T20101- on the outlet shaft and extracting.
Before replacing the right seal:
–  Turn the steering to the right stop.
–  Unscrew the jointed half-shaft of the outlet shaft.
–  Raise the jointed half-shaft as far as possible, taking care not to damage the paint work of the jointed half-shaft.
–  Place a recipient under the gearbox to catch any oil that might be spilled during the operations described below.
–  Remove the support block of the gear change actuation mechanism from the gearbox.
–  Remove the right outlet shaft by fitting the tool -T20101- on the outlet shaft and extracting.
Continuation for both seals:
   
–  Extract the seal from its position using a screwdriver. Take care not to damage the gearbox.
