Separate the gear lever cover from the knob, assemble with the knob

Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Lever -U-30800-, see equivalent → Anchor

Removing

–	Separate the knob with gear lever cover → Chapter

–	Remove connecting piece at location marked with -arrow- with lever -U-30800-.

–	Open connecting piece, widen and remove it.

Attaching

Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence; note the following:

–	Fit gear lever cover together with new connecting piece -arrow-, onto knob.

–	Install knob with gear lever cover → Chapter.
