Example
Reading obtained with the dial gauge = 2.00 mm.
Thickness of shim needed = 1.7 mm.
–  Once the necessary shim has been determined, remove the dial gauge.
   
–  Remove the screw for the satellite carrier shaft -1- with the washer -2-.
–  Place the shim -3- with the calculated thickness (in the example, 1.7 mm) on top of the satellite carrier shaft -arrow-.
–  Fit the satellite carrier shaft screw -1- with the washer -2-.
Tightening torque: 30 Nm
–  Measure the satellite carrier → Chapter.
