  Caution
The air conditioning cooling agent circuit must not be opened. To prevent damage to condenser and cooling agent pipes/hoses, ensure that pipes and hoses are not stretched, kinked or bent.
  Note!
The cooling agent circuit must only be opened in workshops with specialised personnel, tools and equipment.
To facilitate removing and installing the engine without opening the refrigerant circuit:
–  Removing lock carrier with accessory parts: → Bodywork Repairs, installation work, exterior; Rep. Gr.50
–  Remove the radiator along with the lock carrier fan and separate the condenser from the radiator.
–  Remove the clips from the cooling agent tubes.
–  Remove Poly-V belt → Chapter.
–  Removing air conditioner compressor: → Heating, Air conditioning; Rep. Gr.87
–  Unbolt air conditioning fluid dryer filter and allow to hang free.

–  Put the compressor to one side -arrows- so that all the tubes/hoses for the coolant are not in tension.
  Note!
Pay maximum attention and protect the components, so as to avoid damage or tension in the bodywork or in any of the air conditioning components.
