| Remove the connector from the coolant temperature sender → Chapter, Location of components |
Note! | When the connector is removed from the sender, “engine cold” is simulated. When the ignition is switched on, the corresponding pre-heating process is carried out. |

| Remove the connectors from the glow plugs. |

| To measure the voltage, attach the multimeter between one glow plug connector and vehicle earth. |

| Switch on the ignition. During roughly 20 seconds approx. battery voltage should be displayed. |
