Removing and installing pressure differential sender -G505- (right-hand drive vehicles)
Pressure differential sender -G505- is connected to measuring point before particulate filter via 1 pipe. Lambda probe - overview → Item
The pressure differential sender -G505- determines the amount of deposits in the particulate filter.
»Carry out the following work sequence«
Removal:
–  Before pulling off, spray two hoses of pressure differential sender -G505- with solvent.

–  Disconnect electrical connector -3- at pressure differential sender -G505-.
–  Pull hoses carefully and straight from unions (unions break off pressure differential sender -G505- very easily).
–  Unscrew nut -1-, remove pressure differential sender -G505-.
Installation
–  When installing, note the following:
l  Tightening torque for the pressure differential sender -G505- bolts, Lambda probe - Assembly Overview → Item.
  Note
t  Before installing, blow out hoses of pressure differential sender -G505- to particulate filter with compressed air (hoses can become obstructed or may ice up due to condensation).
t  Make sure that hoses are securely fitted and seal properly.
After replacing the pressure differential sender -G505- or the particle filter, a readopting must be carried out again. (The procedure is also described under Guided Functions.)
Select the correct vehicle identification in the Guided Fault Finding.
