| Only when engine does not start: |

| Switch on the ignition. |

| Press button on display for „Vehicle self-diagnosis“. |

| Touch the screen on „01 - Engine electronics“. |
| Engine control unit coding and identification are displayed. |
| Selecting diagnostic function |

| Press button „02 - Interrogate fault memory“ on display. |
| –
| If no fault is stored in the engine control unit „0 faults detected“ is displayed. |
| –
| If faults are stored in the engine control unit, they are shown one below the other on the display. |
| –
| Press button „05 - Erase fault memory“ on display. |
| –
| Press „06 - End output“ function. |
