WARNING When doing any repair work, especially in the engine compartment, pay attention to the following due to the cramped conditions: |

| Route all the various lines and electrical wiring so that they are in their original positions. |

| e.g. for fuel, hydraulics, activated charcoal filter system, coolant and refrigerant, brake fluid, vacuum. |
t
| Ensure that there is sufficient clearance to all moving or hot components. |

WARNING Risk of injury due to automatic engine start on vehicles with Start-Stop system. |
t
| Vehicles with activated Start-Stop system (indicated by message displayed in dash panel), engine can start automatically as required. |
t
| Therefore, ensure that the Start-Stop system is deactivated when working on vehicle (switch ignition off, switch ignition on again as required). |

Please note the following if test equipment has to be used during a test drive: |

| Test and measuring instruments must always be secured to rear seat and operated by a second person. |
To avoid any risk of injuries to persons and/or the destruction of the injection and glow plug system, the following must be noted |
t
| The ignition must be switched off before connecting or disconnecting injection or glow plug system wiring or tester cables. |
t
| The battery should only be disconnected and reconnected with ignition switched off. |
