| Removing the exhaust pipe with front silencer and accessories |
Note| First check whether a coded radio is fitted. If this is the case consult the anti-theft coding. |
| – | With the ignition switched off, disconnect battery earth strap. |
| – | Remove the lower engine protection → Bodywork, exterior fitting work; Rep. gr.50. |
| – | Separate the lambda probe behind the pre-catalyst -G130--18- connector underneath the starter motor support. |
Note| When replacing the exhaust pipe with pre-silencer, remove the lambda probe behind pre-catalyst -G130--18- with the wrench kit -3337-. |
| – | Loosen the exhaust pipe with pre-silencer -11- from the securing elements -12-. |
| – | Loosen the nuts -10- and remove the double clamp -8-. |
| – | Unscrew the bolt -15- and the nuts -16-. |
| – | Remove the exhaust pipe with silencer -11- from the lower studs of the exhaust manifold with pre-catalyst -3-. |
