  Note!
t  Only “G 12” antifreeze may be used according to standard “TL VW 774 D”.
t  In no case may the “G 12” be mixed with other antifreeze additives.
t  If the liquid in the expansion tanks is brown, it means that the “G 12” has been mixed with another antifreeze and all the coolant must be replaced.
t  The “G 12” and antifreeze additives marked ”according to “TLVW 774 D” prevent damage due to corrosion, freezing or lime sedimentation, and increase the boiling point of the coolant. For this reason, the cooling system must always contain the prescribed antifreeze and anticorrosion product mixture.
t  Particularly in countries with a tropical climate, the high boiling point of the antifreeze guarantees the safe working of the engine when it is subject to large efforts.
t  The antifreeze protection must be guaranteed to approx. –25 °C (in Arctic countries to approx. –35 °C).
t  The concentration of the antifreeze must not be reduced by adding water in warm seasons or in countries with a warm climate. The percentage additive of the coolant must be at least 40 %.
t  If, for climatic reasons, greater antifreeze protection is required, the percentage of “G 12” may be increased, but only to 60 % (antifreeze proection to –40 °C). In the event of a larger proportion, the coolant capacity and antifreeze protection fall.
t  Do not reuse coolant when replacing: the radiator, heat exchanger, the cylinder head or the cylinder head gasket.

1)  The amount of coolant may vary depending on the equipment in each vehicle.
–  Close the coolant circuit that was opened for emptying.

–  Load with coolant to the max. mark on theexpansion tank.
–  Close the expansion tank.
–  Run the engine until the fan starts.
–  Check the coolant level and, if necessary, add more liquid. With the engine hot, the level of the coolant must be on the max. mark, and with the engine cold, between max. and min.
