Removing and installing parts of the injection system
1 - Motronic control unit connector -J220-
q   Connect or disconnect only when the ignition is off
2 - Motronic control unit -J220-*
q   Connect or disconnect only when the ignition is off
q   For injection system, Lambda regulation, activated charcoal filter solenoid valve, knock control, governed speed, ignition and self-diagnosis
q   If replacing, the engine control unit must be adapted to the electronic immobilizer and the throttle valve control unit; adapting components → Chapter
3 - Motronic control unit support
4 - 3 Nm
5 - Connector
q   Black, 4-pin
q   For intake manifold pressure sender -G71- with intake air temperature sender -G42-
q   Contacts gold plated
6 - Connector
q   Black, 3-pin
q   For engine speed sender -G28-
7 - Air filter
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   Separate and fit → Fig.
8 - Securing clip
q   Note the version
9 - Cable/line guide
q   Clipped onto fuel rail
10 - Connector
q   Black, 2-pin
q   For injectors -N30-, -N31-, -N32- and -N33-
11 - Fuel supply pipe

q   Ensure tight fit
q   Secure with spring-type clips

q   Grease thread only with “G5”. “G5” must not get into the slots on the probe body
q   Remove and fit with -U-40080-
q   In case of leaking, nip open and replace the o-ring
21 - Connector
q   Black, 4-pin
q   For Lambda probe -G39- and heater for Lambda probe -Z19-
q   Contacts 3 and 4 gold-plated
22 - Engine speed sender -G28-*
q   Situated in the cylinder block, intake side

The diagram is divided into two temperature ranges:
A - from 0 … 50 °C
B - from 50 … 105 °C
Data readings examples:
t  30 °C is in range A and corresponds to a resistance of 1,5 … 2,0 kΩ
t  80 °C is in range B and corresponds to a resistance of 275 … 375 Ω
