Removing and installing fuel gauge sender > < Removing

Installing
Installing
–  When inserting the fuel delivery unit ensure that the fuel gauge sender is not bent
  Note!
t  When inserting the fuel supply unit ensure that the fuel gauge sender is not bent.
t  Coat flange joint ring with fuel when fitting.
t  Ensure fuel hoses are seated securely.
t  After installing fuel delivery unit, check that the supply, return and vent pipes are still clipped onto fuel tank.
   
t  Note installation position of fuel delivery unit flange: The marking on flange must align with marking on fuel tank -arrows-.
–  Read fault memories of all control units → Diagnostics operations unitVAS 5051.
–  Carry out test drive and read fault memories of all control units again.
