Installing > < Replacing valve stem seals

Removing
Removing
–  Remove camshafts → Chapter.
–  Remove the bucket tappets and place them with the contact surface downwards. When doing this ensure that the tappets are not interchanged.
–  Remove spark plugs with spark plug spanner -T20028-.
–  Set piston of appropriate cylinder to “bottom dead centre”.
–  Screw pressure hose -T20033- into the spark plug thread.
   
–  Mount fitting tool -T20034B- on cylinder head with fitting tool securing bolts.
–  Connect pressure hose to compressed air system supplying at least 6 bar and remove valve springs.
–  Pull off valve shaft seal using removal tool -T20058-.
