Valve timing: checking

–	Remove upper part of toothed belt guard.

–	Turn crankshaft to TDC on cylinder 1. The notch on the pulley must coincide with the mark -O- on the lower toothed belt guard and the point on the camshaft sprocket -arrow- has to coincide with the existing mark on the rear toothed belt guard.
