Prerequisites
   
l  One part of the follower polygon -arrow- on the crankshaft must be positioned upwards.
Work sequence
–  Fit a new seal on the dowel pin on the cylinder block.
–  Coat the crankshaft follower polygon cam lobs with oil.

–  Align the oil pump inner rotor mark arrow -A- to the installation position mark arrow -B- on the oil pump housing cover.
–  Lightly oil the sealing lip of the oil pump seal.

–  Fit sleeve -T20081/2- on oil pump seal and guide oil pump carefully over the crankshaft follower polygon cam lobs.
–  Align inner rotor to crankshaft follower polygon cams by turning slightly if necessary.
–  Then slide oil pump carefully onto guide pins.
–  Secure oil pump
–  Remove sleeve -T20081/2-
–  Install suction pump → Item.
–  Install oil sump → Chapter.
–  Install bracket vane pump, compressor, alternator if necessary, observe tightening sequence → Item.
–  Install toothed belt sprocket and toothed belt tensioning roller → Chapter, Removing, installing and tensioning toothed belt.
